  • Following an initial meeting and design brief our fantastic team will develop your requirements into an exciting and considered design proposal which not only meets your needs but exceeds your expectations.

  • We provide in-house 3D digital modelling from which we can provide our clients with stunning photo realistic visuals. These can not only help the client to fully appreciate the design but can also help with statutory considerations such as planning and conservation approval.

  • Here at Turner + Co we have an excellent understanding of the planning system including saved local policies for differing authorities as well as the national planning policy framework.

    From time to time, on more complex cases we will suggest the involvement of a qualified planning agent. This can sometimes be necessary to add a greater depth of specific planning and development control knowledge to a scheme.

    We work closely with JVH Planning and TWB Planning who both have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the most complex schemes.

  • We offer a full interior design service which can either be combined with the architectural design service or as a stand alone service where the premises are already complete.

    We continually track current and upcoming trends and combine our creative design skills with our immense knowledge of products, finishes and techniques to bring our clients’ requirements to life.

  • Once design plans are complete, we can help make the planning application to the relevant local authority for you. Our expertise of working with various Borough and District Councils makes us ideal to walk you through what can be a complex process. Our previous experience of handling difficult applications can be an asset to your project.

  • Following the production of a full set of architectural plans and planning approval, we can assist with the recruitment and selection of an approved contractor for your project. Full tender packages will be sent to a selection of quality contractors with an agreed deadline, taking care of the time consuming leg work on your behalf.

  • Whether you are an experienced developer or embarking on your first project, our feasibility options can help you determine whether a potential project is viable. Our reports can ensure that you are aware of any potential risks, thereby saving time and money on fees and helping you make sound strategic decisions.

  • In some circumstances, our clients require a bespoke product design service to fulfil their project needs. Our in-house designer can work with you to tailor a one-off design to meet your exact specifications. Whether this be furniture to enhance your interior design scheme or detailed fabrication drawings using CAD software.

  • For our professional clients, our experience within the building industry places us in the ideal position to offer estimating and quantity surveying services. This can be a time consuming process and with the pressures of the construction industry, we provide our clients with a full freelance estimating service for both residential and commercial work.

    As well as an estimating service, we can also provide; contract advice, material scheduling, negotiated buy downs, assistance appointing domestic trades, formulating a program of works (including critical path analysis), monthly valuations, final account analysis and build tracker, extension of time applications and valuation pricing analysis.

  • The design and configuration of drainage or road systems can be cumbersome, complex and fraught with regulation. We help remove the complexity and make the process easier for you by creating drawings and plans for all your highways and drain design requirements including access and parking.

  • Following the granting of planning permission, the next stage would be to produce the full construction documentation. This provides the detailed information necessary for building control approval as well as providing third party consultants (such as structural engineers) with the necessary information upon which their design can be produced.

    This documentation can also be used in conjunction with our procurement and contract administration service to assist with the control of the contractor tendering procedure and construction process.

  • We have a wealth of knowledge in creating sustainable designs. This is a holistic approach to every scheme and considers every aspect of sustainability including carbon footprint, biodiversity, lifetime energy usage, transport and material selection.

    We welcome the June 2022 overhaul of the building regulations Part F, Part L and Part O which begin to take steps towards a more responsible approach to building fabric design and domestic and commercial energy consumption.
